Winter holiday on the farm

The house is only a few minutes away from the family skiing area Rifflsee and the glacier skiing area by free ski bus. In the immediate vicinity of the house is the 20,000m² ski children's area, where even the youngest children are looked after under the professional supervision of the Club Alpin ski school, while their parents enjoy extensive ski days. With us, children up to the age of 10 receive a free ski pass if at least one parent purchases a ski pass.

A perfectly groomed cross-country ski trail and wonderful winter walking paths lead directly past our house.

The ski school is located on site. Snowshoe hikes, toboggan evenings and torchlight hikes round off the varied programme.

Skiing in the Pitztal

Two ski areas with one ski pass at an altitude of 1,680 m to 3,440 m above sea level. On the Pitztal glacier with the family skiing area Rifflsee, 40 kilometres of pistes await you. Special attention is paid to families in the Pitztal. The "Sunn-Alm-Bahn" chairlift in the Rifflsee ski area is particularly safe and child-friendly with an automatic closing bar and low entry height.

Ski slopes for all demands, an ideal carving area, attractive race slopes for national teams up to the practice area for ski beginners and bambinis characterise the glacier ski area!

Cross-country skiing

The Pitztal is a small, fine cross-country skiing paradise. Both classic cross-country skiers and those who prefer the skating style will find excellent trails here. The centrepiece is the 21.7-kilometre valley trail from the village of Wiese up to Mandarfen at an altitude of 1,743 metres. Along the course of the valley trail, you will repeatedly pass small villages that invite you to take a break. If you want to go high up, the high-altitude trails at the Rifflsee (2,250 m) and the Pitztal Glacier (2,760 m) offer an extremely panoramic field of activity.

Tip: Every Monday and Friday the ski school offers a trial cross-country course.

The Pitztal is rightly considered the pearl of ice climbing in Tyrol. Countless waterfalls freeze into icy formations in winter. Moderate, but also numerous challenging routes lead through the icefalls. The mecca of ice climbing is the Taschach Gorge, which turns into an easily accessible ice climbing garden in winter.

Specialists for ice climbing & for guided tours through the icefalls are the Pitztal Mountain Guide.
